This spray is made from freshly dried roses, infused in witch hazel extracted in topical alcohol.  Witch hazel is naturally astringent making it a preferable base for treating ‘hot’ skin conditions (when you would not want to use oil based remedies like salves and lotions)  such as an itchy or weepy rash or burns or sunburns. This cooling spray can also be used to clean, soothe and tighten the skin before moistening with salves or lotions and it can be used as a daily toner after washing your face, to tame redness or puffiness and tighten pores.*
